Blog

I've never found a truffle in my life, but I know exactly in which drawer the socks are hidden at my house. And I sure know the sound of a fridge opening from 100 miles away. I am happy to share my adventures with the family of 4 on this blog of mine, which you can read anywhere in the world.

What does your dog do when you drop some food on the floor? Does he wait for you to allow him to eat it? Probably not, right? He'll probably pounce on the food the moment it hits the floor and gobble it up before you know it. If he eats dangerous food, he may hurt himself.

Before we start training together to walk on a leash, so that the dog does not pull, let's talk a little about treats. They are a big motivator for the dog.

This activity could be called "a lift". A bowl of food is an excellent thing that can motivate good behavior. I will teach your dog to sit and wait before eating without giving commands. The only word you say is "OK" to release the dog from sitting.

Do you remember being taught to say the magic word "please" when you were little and wanted something? If you didn't say "please", you didn't get sweets or you weren't allowed to go outside to play. I learned that word for sure too. But since we dogs communicate with our bodies and not with words, I say "please" with my butt....

Even though we are the prettiest, cutest and funniest breed, we still don't get cast in movies or commercials, we're not on the cover of kibble and the world still confuses us with poodles. We need to change that, my friends.
